About
A dramatic horn solo arranged from Felix Mendelssohn’s Lied Ohne Worte (Song without Words) Op. 109.
An excellent solo for exploring sound, phrasing, articulation, stylistic contrasts, and endurance. This arrangement features moderately difficult technical demands. The written range of the horn part is G2 to A5.
Originally for cello and piano, this work was first arranged for horn by Oscar Franz. This setting corrects miscellaneous errors and includes the entire solo part with no omissions. The piano part has been edited for clarity.
